WINDOWS XP
- Click Start, Settings, Control Panel
- Click on Network & Internet Connections (change to category view if necessary)
- Click on "Setup or Change Your Internet Connection"
- Click "Setup"
- Place (.) Connect to the Internet
- Click Next
- Place (.) Set up my connection manually
- Click Next
- Place (.) Connect using a dial-up modem
- Click Next
- Type: CINTEK
- Click Next
- Type appropriate local phone number

- Place (.) Anyone's use
- Click Next
- Type customer username with CINTEK
- Type customer password with CINTEK
- Retype customer password with CINTEK
- Leave 3 default check marks on
- Place a check mark beside Add Shortcut to Destkop
- Click Finish
- Click Internet Options
- Under the General Tab: type www.cintek.com for home page address
- Under the Security Tab: choose Default Level
- Under the Connections Tab: place (.) Always dial my default connection
- Click OK
- Close all windows and double click CINTEK on the Desktop
- Confirm customer username and password with CINTEK
WINDOWS ME
- Click Start, Settings, Control Panel
- Double click "Dial-up Networking"
- Double click "Make New Connection"
- Replace the words "My Connection" with CINTEK
- Click Next
- Enter 250 for the area code and appropriate local phone number

- Click Next
- Click Finish
- Right click over top of new CINTEK connection
- Left click on Properties
- Under the General Tab remove the check mark beside use area code and dialing properties
- Click on the Networking Tab
- Remove the check mark beside enable software compression
- Click on the Security Tab
- Enter customer username with CINTEK
- Enter customer password with CINTEK
- Add a check mark to Connect Automatically
- Click OK
WINDOWS 98 & 95
- Double click "My Computer"
- Double click "Dial-up Networking"
- Double click "Make New Connection"
- Replace the words "My Connection" with the words CINTEK
- Click Next
- Enter 250 for the area code and enter the phone number as a whole number, no dash and no space:

- Click Next
- Click Finish
- Right Click over top of the new CINTEK connection
- Left click on Properties
- Under the General Tab remove the check mark besides use area code and dialing properties
- Under the Server Types tab remove all check marks leaving only TCP/IP
- Click OK
- Right Click over top of the new CINTEK connection once again
- Left click on Create Shortcut
- Click Yes
- Close all windows
- Double click on the CINTEK connection on your desktop
- Enter customer username and password with CINTEK
- Check Save Password
- Click Connect
SETTING UP OUTLOOK EXPRESS
- From the desktop, double click on Outlook Express. If you cannot see Outlook Express on your desktop, it will probably be found in Start Button/Programs/Internet Explorer Folder/Outlook Express
- Your computer will either open up the Outlook Express Main Screen, or open the Internet Connection Wizard. If you are taken to the Wizard, skip to step 6.
- Click on Tools, and then click Accounts
- A window named Internet Accounts will pop up. There are 4 Tabs along the top (All/Mail/News/Directory), click Mail, click the Add button, and then click Mail
- You will be asked to type in Your Name. Type your full first and last name with appropriate starting capitals and a space in between
- Click Next
- You will now be asked to type in your e-mail address. Type it in full, using no capital letters, and no spaces, making sure to include @cintek.com
- Click Next
- Your incoming Mail Server is a POP3 server
- Type in your Incoming & Outgoing Mail Server names as mail.cintek.com
- Click Next
- Verify the account name as entered is correct and then click on the password field and type your CINTEK password
- Make sure Remember Password is checked
- Click Next. Congratulations, you've set up your new e-mail address
- Click Finish, exit the Internet Accounts windows, and close Outlook Express
